WORKWEAR™ 14 - 14% Manganese Plate & Bar
Workwear 14 is true austenitic 11-14% manganese product. It exhibits excellent work hardening characteristics in service applications where impact and abrasion are prevalent.
Workwear 14 will "work harden in service" to approximately 500 BHN. In the "as shipped" condition it is approximately 250 BHN. Workwear 14 can be welded with standard manganese electrodes. Please use only certified personnel who are familiar working with this type of material. Drilling is not recommended for this product.
