Mirraloy® HCP

(C.P.O.) Hard Chrome Plated Shaft
Mirraloy HCP offers salt spray corrosion resistance. Chrome hardness is Rockwell “C” 58/60. It is a precision finished chrome plated shaft, minus the induction hardened surface of the shaft substrate. The outer surface of the shaft has high hardness chrome, the sub-surface of the shaft, (under the chrome), is not hardened. It is an excellent extended service chromed shaft material for hydraulic and pneumatic applications when a conventional approach to machining is available.
Rigid quality standards ensure excellent internal soundness and uniformity of chemistry. Surface condition and wearability are verified. An excellent choice for hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
